Admiralitätsmusik

The Hamburg Admiralty music TWV 24:1 is a secular oratorio for soloists (soprano, tenor 2 and 3 bass ), mixed choir and orchestra of Georg Philipp Telemann. Wrote the text of the Hamburg school professor Michael Richey. It was composed in 1723 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Hamburg Admiralty and the solemn banquet of the College on April 6, 1723 premiered along with the overture Hamburger ebb and flow as a serenade. The performance lasts about 100 minutes.
