Admiralty Mountains#Mount Ajax

The Mount Ajax is a 3770 meters high mountain, the 1.5 km west-southwest of Mount Royalist rising in the Admiralty Mountains. It was named by a New Zealand Antarctic Expedition from 1957 to 1958 after HMS Ajax. Other mountains in the surrounding area were named after the New Zealand ships such as the nearby Mount Achilles after HMNZS Achilles.
