Adnkronos

Adnkronos is an Italian news agency based in Rome. It was formed by the merger of Kronos (founded in 1951) and Adn ( Agenzia di Notizie, founded in 1959 ) and is the second largest by ANSA news agency in Italy.

Since 1999, the division Adnkronos Salute with news from the world of medicine and since 2003, the division Adnkronos International ( AKI), with current, international news, especially from the Arab world. The Arabic Editor consists of four journalists with mother tongue is Arabic, the report focused on the Middle East and the Mediterranean daily updates from politics, economy, culture in Italy, Europe and the Arab world.

Adnkronos is part of the group Giuseppe Marra Communications ( GMC).
