Adobe Brackets

Adobe brackets is an editor for developing Web applications. It is mainly written in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and is managed by Adobe Systems. Brackets is free software which is licensed under the MIT license and is hosted on GitHub. A version 1.0 has not been announced, but new pre-release version will be published approximately twice a month. Brackets is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux available for download.

Brackets support extensions that add functionality. At present, some extensions for debugging or for adding browser- specific CSS prefixes are used, but also Linter and tools for auto-completion are available.
