Adolf, Duke of Bavaria

Adolf ( born January 7, 1434 in Munich, † before October 24, 1441 ibid ) was Duke of Bavaria- Munich out of the house of Wittelsbach.

Adolf was the eldest son of Duke William III. of Bavaria -Munich and his wife Margaret of Cleves. His younger brother William died in infancy. As with William's brother Ernest and his son Albert III. already prepared were capable of governing two Dukes, the role of the minor Adolf was very limited. Since he died at just seven years, he had no influence on the fortunes of the Duchy.
