Adolfo Domínguez

Adolfo Domínguez Fernández ( born May 14, 1950 in Puebla de Trives, Ourense ) is a Spanish fashion designer and entrepreneur.

He studied design and cinematography in Paris, with further studies in London.

In the early seventies, the designer took over his father's tailor shop and opened his first store in 1973 in Orense. Six years later, Dominguez started a campaign with the slogan " La bella arruga it " began his career. In the eighties, he founded new branches in Spain and abroad. In 1997, the company Adolfo Dominguez SA was the first Spanish designer companies listed on the Spanish Stock Exchange.

Adolfo Dominguez S. A. currently has a network of around 400 branches, of which 98 are outside Spain. Annual turnover of around 182 million euros.
