Adriaen Isenbrandt
Adriaen Isenbrant (* around 1490 in Bruges, † July 1551 ) was a Dutch painter.
Isenbrant - also Isenbrandt or Ysenbrant - is generally regarded as an active painter from 1510 adopted in Bruges. His birth year is set to 1490. Friedlander identifies him as a pupil of Gerard David, sees in his work but also the motif quotes of other painters of the period, such as Jan Gossaert or Ambrosius Benson. A dividing line between his own works and those of his workshop is difficult to draw.
