Adrien de Wignacourt

Fra ' Adrien de Wignacourt (* 1618 in France, † February 4, 1697 ) was the 63rd Grand Master of the Order of Malta.

He was a nephew of the 54th Grand Master, Fra ' Alof de Wignacourt.

He officiated 24 July 1690 to his death in the year in 1697. Before he was elected Grand Master he was Prior of the tongue of Auvergne.

Adrien created a widows 'and orphans' fund for the families of the fallen of the wars against the Turks.

He managed to finish the lengthy dispute with Genoa.

During his reign, a major earthquake Sicily, Malta and Gozo was invading.
