Adscita krymensis is a butterfly of the family of burnet ( Zygaenidae ).

Features
The males reach a forewing length of 11.5 millimeters. Head, thorax and legs shimmering green. The abdomen shining dark green and has a semi -metallic luster. The sensors consist of 37 segments, the last nine segments are transformed into platelets. The front upper wing surface shimmers green, the front wing underside and the fringes are gray. The hind wings top and bottom are gray. Both wings are covered with small scales and slightly translucent.
In the male the uncus 1.6 times longer than the Tegumen. The Valven have no processus, the ventral portion is tapered distally. The aedeagus is about two times as long as the uncus and has a straight, strongly sclerotized cornutus. This is slender, tapering distally and 24 times longer than wide.
Females have not been described.
Similar Species
Adscita albanica and Adscita geryon come syntopically ago with A. krymensis. All three types can be distinguished genitalmorphologisch.
Dissemination
Adscita krymensis is so far known only from the Crimean peninsula.
Biology
The biology of the species is unknown.
System
The taxonomic position of the species is uncertain at this time. It is believed that it is closely related with the representatives of statices group.
