Due to a change in strategy at Finnair Airlines has been taken off the market in January 2008 and sold the entire fleet of the Russian UTair.

The establishment of an airline with the name Aero has thereby also nostalgic trains, because as today's Finnair was founded in 1923, her name Aero O / Y was ( OY = finn AG). The name Aero was later supplemented by the term Finnair and then disappeared completely in the 1960s.
