Aeroponics

The aeroponics is a cultivation method for plants. The plants are thereby fixed so that their roots are constantly wetted by a spray of water and nutrients. She is also well suited for root vegetables such as potatoes and carrots.

The procedure was developed in 1982 by KT Hubick and later improved by NASA scientists. The method is also suitable for plants growing under conditions in which the influence of gravity plays a lesser role than on Earth.
