Aérospatiale
Aérospatiale was a manufacturer of civil and military aircraft, missiles and helicopters.
History
The French aerospace and defense group Société Nationale Industrielle Aérospatiale ( SNIAS ) was created in 1970 from the merger of the then nationalized company Sud Aviation, Nord Aviation and SÉREB. In 1984, the name of Aerospatiale.
1998 merged with Aérospatiale Matra Haute Technology ( a subsidiary of the French Matra Group ) Aerospatiale -Matra, which merged on 10 July 2000 with other European companies to form EADS.
