Nord Aviation

Nord Aviation was a French state aircraft manufacturer. He was born on October 1, 1954 merger of state-owned enterprises Société Nationale de Constructions Aéronautiques du Nord ( SNCAN ) and SFECMAS. The name was adopted in 1958. Headquarters and main production site was Bourges.

In 1970 the company Sud Aviation and SEREB was pooled for air and space company Aérospatiale.
