Nord Norécrin

The North 1200 Norécrin is an aircraft of the French manufacturer Nord Aviation.

History

The North 1200 is based on the North 1100 which, in turn, is based on the produced in France Messerschmitt Bf 108. It was designed by tendering the French Government for a two - or three -seater cabin low-wing monoplane. The first flight of the prototype took place on 15 December 1945. The first production version was called North Norécrin 1201, was dreisitzig and was powered by a 104 -kW Renault engine. The following series versions 1204 Norécrin II, III and IV were four seats and were equipped with different engines. An armed military version with 127 kW engine was produced in 1203 Norécrin V. From 1955, the Norécrin VI and later the North American Continental 1204 was produced engines. A total of 470 machines were produced, which makes the machine to one of the most successful French aircraft.
