Agariste of Sicyon
Agariste (Greek Ἀγαρίστη [ Agariste ] ) was the daughter of the ancient Greek tyrant Cleisthenes of Sicyon.
Her father wanted to give the bravest and noblest of all Greeks to the woman and called Free from all over Greece to himself. After songs, flute and dance contests he gave Agariste the Athens Megakles wife.
The couple had several children, including Cleisthenes of Athens, the Attica into ten tribes aufteilte and established democracy in Athens, and Hippocrates, whose daughter was also named Agariste.
