Agios Georgios (Greek Άγιος Γεώργιος ( m. sg. ) ) Is a bay and township in the northwest of the Greek island of Corfu. The bay was named the 1997 and 2010 existing community; approximately 35 kilometers from Corfu Town. In the village of Agros was located the seat of the municipality. The municipality was formed in 1997 through the merger of many villages, and went in 2010 in the newly created United municipality Corfu, which covers the entire island and the Diapontia Islands. In this church Agios Georgios forms since one of 15 community districts.

The bay of Agios Georgios has a three- kilometer-long sandy beach and is very popular with single travelers and families. The approximately 3,500 inhabitants live off tourism and agriculture.

In the district of Agios Georgios, in particular in the picturesque hamlet of Afionas, numerous German, among them a number of artists have settled. So it is to explain that Agios Georgios is the venue of several German crime novels of Roberto Bardez and Ronnith Neumann.
