Agostino Richelmy

Agostino Cardinal Richelmy ( born November 29, 1850 in Turin, † August 10, 1923 ) was a Cardinal of the Catholic Church.

Richelmy was ordained priest on 25 April 1873. He was professor of dogmatic theology and moral ethics. On 7 June 1886 he was appointed Bishop of Ivrea. On September 18, 1897, he was called by Pope Leo XIII. appointed Archbishop of Turin. During his tenure, the exhibition of the Turin grave cloth falls in 1898, when it was first photographed.
