Agricultural University of Cracow

The Agricultural University of Hugo Kołłątaj in Krakow (Polish:. Uniwersytet rolniczy in Hugona Kołłątaja in Krakow ) is an agricultural university in the Polish city of Krakow, with around 8000 students and 800 academic staff. Rector of the University is Prof. Dr. Janusz żmija.

The Agricultural University of Krakow dates back to an existing 1806-1809 Agricultural Science Academy, which was in 1890 part of the Jagiellonian University and eventually became an independent university with the current name on 28 September 1972.

Faculties

The Cracow University is divided today into eight faculties with over 100 study disciplines.
