The Água Vermelha - Dam is a dam with a hydroelectric power station on the Rio Grande in Brazil. The dam is located on the border of the states of Minas Gerais and São Paulo, the main facilities are in the area of Minas Gerais. The reservoir is located on the Rio Grande above the reservoir of Tres Lagoas and south of the dam on the Rio São Simão Paranaíba.

The shut-off consists of a dam, combined with a Erdschüttdamm. It is 80 km above the confluence of the Rio Grande and the Rio Paranaíba to the Paraná River.

The hydroelectric power plant supplies large parts of the southwest of Brazil with electricity. The stream is passed to Araraquara, Ribeirão Preto and Santa Bárbara d' Oeste. The first machine went online in August 1978. During operation, the water level of the dam from 383.30 to 373.30 meters above sea level fluctuates.
