Aharon Yariv

Aaron Rabinovich Jariv ( born December 20, 1920 in Moscow, † 7 May 1994, Tel Aviv) was an Israeli politician and general.

With 15 years of wandering Jariv to Israel and studied at the Pardes Hanna Agricultural High School. In 1938 he was in the Haganah and later in the British army; then he was with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF ). From 1964 to 1972 he was the head of the Intelligence Service of the Israel Defense Forces Aman. Of 21 January 1974 to 16 May 1977 he was a member of the Knesset.

Jariv also was until February 4, 1975 Transport and Minister of Information ( Avodah ).
