Ahmet Güneştekin

Ahmet Güneştekin ( born December 22, 1966 in the province of Batman ) is a Turkish artist of Kurdish origin and member of the International Association of the Plastic Arts and director.

Biography

At age five he discovered his passion for painting and painted his first oil painting at the age of nine years. His first exhibition of paintings he opened 16 years ago.

Güneştekin was active in over 80 art projects, his works attracted both national and international attention. In 2003 he organized his first professional exhibition, the name " Karanlıktan Sonraki Renkler " ( colors after dark ) in the Atatürk Kültür Merkezi ( AKM ). His artistic work he performs today in Beyoğlu on.

In the documentary series " Haberci Türkiye Renkleri " (Ambassador of Turkey's colors) and " Günesin İzinde " ( On the trail of the sun), both of which were broadcast on Turkish state broadcaster TRT International, he directed.

Ahmet Güneştekin is a member of the UNESCO International Association of the Plastic Arts ( UNESCO Uluslararası plastic Sanatçılar Derneği ).
