Aille River

The Aille River ( Irish: Abhainn na Haille ) originates at Slieve Elva ( Sliabh Eilbhe ) in the Burren area. It flows through the city Lisdoonvarna to open in Doolin near the Cliffs of Moher into the sea. During the summer, the river often seeps into the limestone cave system in Doolin.
