AIPTEK ( Advanced Intelligent Personal Technologies) (Chinese天 瀚科技, Pinyin Tian Hàn Keji, Wide as the sky ') is a manufacturer of consumer electronics products. Founded in 1997, headquartered in Hsinchu (Taiwan), producing primarily pico projectors, camcorders, graphic tablets, digital pens and digital photo frames and 3D products. Since January 14, 2003 Aiptek is listed on the Taiwan listed (ticker number 6225 ).

Aiptek also has offices in Shanghai ( China ), Irvine (California ) and Willich (North Rhine -Westphalia).

History

Aiptek began in 1997 with the development and production of graphics tablets to create drawings on the computer. Worldwide known brand was in 2000 with the PenCam, which in a short time sold over 2.5 million times. Followed in 2006 the world's first digital photo frame with camera to digitize analog photos directly. In 2010 came with the Pocket Cinema V10 one of the first mobile projectors on the market, which followed a series of numerous other models. So Aiptek brought beside mobile stand -alone devices out also models for laptops, iPads, iPhones and iPods or bizarre models with boombox and karaoke function.
