Air Force Training Ribbon

The Air Force Training Ribbon is the lowest military award of the United States Air Force. The award will be presented in October 1980, every soldier who is one of four training programs completed successfully. The four programs that authorize to wear the Air Force Training Ribbon, the basic training of the Air Force, a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Reserve Officer Training Corps or a successful completion of the Air Force Officer Training School.

Soldiers who had completed their basic training before 1981, the award were also awarded, if they were still in service. A soldier who has completed more than a training program successfully, receives the Air Force Training Ribbon awarded with oak leaves.

The Air Force Training Ribbon is similar to the badge Army Service Ribbon.
