Air Next

Air Next (Japaneseエアー ネクスト 株式会社, Ea Nekusuto Kabushiki - gaisha ) was a Japanese low-cost airline with headquarters in Tokyo. She was a wholly owned subsidiary of All Nippon Airways and used as the main airport Fukuoka Airport and flew exclusively national targets.

History

Next Air was founded in August 2004 and started operations on 1 June 2005 with two Boeing 737-500 aircraft on.

Through the reorganization of the All Nippon Airways all domestic flights were transferred into the system of the parent company. Until April 2004, had Air Next and All Nippon Airways different finishes of aircraft and various IATA codes. Today, Air, Next has a similar paint job that differs only by a small additional tracks ( "Air Next" ) and a dolphin on the engine. Furthermore, the airline does not fly their flights with their own IATA code " 7A ", but the of All Nippon Airways ( " NH "). As a subsidiary of All Nippon Airways Air Next is a full member of Star Alliance.

In June 2010, Air Next was dissolved and merged with two other regional companies of ANA, Air Central and Air Nippon Network to the new ANA Wings.
