Ajayi Agbebaku

Ajayi Agbebaku ( born January 6, 1955) is a former Nigerian athlete who had specialized in the triple jump.

First international success he achieved in 1979 as African champions in the triple jump and long jump. At the World Athletics Championships 1983 in Helsinki, he won with a width of 17.18 m bronze medal in the triple jump behind Zdzisław Hoffmann and Willie Banks.

At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles Agbebaku finished with 16.67 m in seventh place. Shortly before, he had not won at the Africa Athletics Championships in Rabat the silver medal. Most recently, he was at the World Athletics Championships 1987 in Rome again at the start, but already retired on the qualifier.

Ajayi Agbebaku is 1,85 m tall and had a competition weight of 80 kg.
