The Akaflieg München Mü 8 was the first powered aircraft the student Fliegergruppe Akaflieg Munich.
History
In the first powered aircraft, built by students of the Akaflieg Munich, were especially light weight, ease of manufacture and cost-effective operation in the foreground. Also in this plane was Egon disc, which was a driving force in glider after the war, the main designer. The successful first flight of the single-seater took place in December 1933.
Construction
The fuselage of the low-wing consists of a welded fabric-covered steel tube frame.
