Ã…ke Lindman

Åke Lindman (actually Åke Leonard Järvinen, born January 11, 1928 in Helsinki, † 3 March 2009) was a Finnish football player and later a director and actor.

Life

Lindman was first football player for the club IFK Helsingfors and was also in the national team that took part in the Olympic Games in Helsinki, Defender. An offer of the English league, he refused and instead gave the acting career takes precedence.

As an actor Lindman was founded in 1955 primarily known by the movie The Unknown Soldier ( Tuntematon sotilas ); He was also seen in the German curiosity Back from outer space and two Finnish Western.
