Geography

Akeley is located in north-central Minnesota at the Eleventh Crow Wing Lake, the largest and lowest lake in the Crow Wing Chain of Lakes, one traversed by the Crow Wing River chain of lakes. The city is located at 47 ° 00'06 " north latitude, 94 ° 43'41 " west longitude and covers 3.88 km ².
