Akhmerovsky Forest

The Achmerowskiwald ( Ахмеровский лес ) is a forest in Bashkortostan in Russia. Its area is about 15 km ². He reached in his highest register nearly 340 m.

Location

The forest is located south of the road R316 ( Sterlitamak - Magnitogorsk ) within the Rajons Ischimbai in the northeast of the township of Ischimbai, 21 km north-east of Ishimbai and 18 km east of Sterlitamak.

Flora

In Achmerowskiwald oak and lime trees grow. Until the 20th century the wood of the Achmerowskiwaldes in Salinas was used at the edge of the forest. Along the southern part of the forest clearings being more common with lawns.
