Ákos Kovács

Ákos Kovács ( born April 6, 1968 in Budapest, Artist name: Ákos ) is the Kossuth Prize-winning Hungarian pop-rock singer and songwriter. Between 1988 and 1994 he was a singer of the band Bonanza Banzai.

He comes from a family of lawyers and studied at the Budapest University of Economics. Great reputation and popularity he gained as the frontman of cult band Bonanza Banzai, which he published nine albums. His solo career started in addition to the band, and he placed them in the dissolution of the group in 1994 very successfully continued. In addition to the lyrics, he is largely responsible for the music of his albums, some of which also have English versions.

In addition, Ákos Kovács also known as the director of video clips and plays, actors and poets. Previously, he published five volumes of poetry.
