Al' Dino

Aldin Kurić, better known under the name Al'Dino ( born March 21, 1970 in Jajce, Bosnia and Herzegovina ) is a Bosnian musician. His works are not attributable to a specific musical genre. Al'Dinos style is more a mix of traditional Bosnian folk music, the modern turbo folk, jazz and pop. He has gained notoriety due to his numerous duets, as well as appearances in several European countries, but is still mainly heard in the countries of the former Yugoslavia, especially Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia.

Life

Kurić began with five years in the elementary music school playing the guitar and piano. At the age of sixteen he was playing a member of jazz fusion band and learned bass guitar. In Jajce, he lived up to his 18th birthday and after abgeleisteter military service he went to Sarajevo to study medicine. But soon he was mainly concerned with music, because his interest was there of jazz music. He played in many clubs in the city as a bass player. At the same time he used the Bosnian tradition and folklore Sevdah and the legacy of the late Sevdalinkaspielers Zaim Imamovic. Al'Dino began to earn his first money as a musician in many restaurants in Sarajevo. After the outbreak of the war in the spring of 1992, he fled his home to Stuttgart and played bass guitar with other well-known musicians such as Dino Merlin, Hari Mata Hari Halid Bešlić, Safet Isovic and Haris Dzinovic. At the same time he studied jazz in Freiburg and played with international musicians in clubs. As a " one man band " he lay down his stage name Al'Dino to and sang and played in seven languages ​​in German and Italian restaurants. 1998 Kurić returned back to Bosnia and took the first songs for his first solo album Odlaziš ( "You go " ) on. The title song Odlaziš became his first big hit in Bosnia.

Music

On March 10, 2001 Al'Dino participated in BiH Euro Song 2001, the Bosnian preliminary decision to Euro Vision Song Contest with the song Sve ti oprastam in part and placed 2nd. In the following year he applied again on 23 February 2002 svijet the BiH Euro Song 2002 with the song Sanjam bolji and finished 3rd.

Published in 2003 Al'Dino his second album titled Na drugoj adresi ( "On a different address "). For this album several hits like Sanjam bolji come svijet, Sedam godina, Sve Ce Ovo jednom proći. In 2005, he released his third album Kopriva. The song Kopriva became his biggest hit at the time, with whom he won the Western Balkans to fame. The album was named Kopriva, ultimately, Album of the Year in Bosnia and Herzegovina and has received awards such as the Davorin Grand Prix at Radio Festival in Zenica, the hit of the year 2007 in Serbia and other Music Awards.

He won the Radio Festival in Serbia Feras with the song Ko ljudi. With Stariji he was awarded the most beautiful ballad. The song Po Tebi me poznaju he sang a duet with Serbian singer Goca Tržan. In 2008 his fourth album came out. The song nikąd mi se ne spava is a duet with Mostar Sevdah Reunion. In March 2010 Al'Dinos Single Srce se predalo appeared and in July 2011 he released his fifth album, entitled Zavjet ljubavi ( " vow of love ").
