Al-Marrakushi (crater)

Al- Marrakushi is a small, free-standing impact crater on the southeast hemisphere of the visible part of the moon in the eastern part of the Mare Fecunditatis. He has a round, symmetrical shape. The interior walls fall evenly from the center out. The Mare in its environment is marked by blasting material located in the north-east striking crater Langrenus.

Until its renaming by the International Astronomical Union ( IAU) in 1976, he was known as Langrenus D.
