Allen Blake Sarven ( born July 18, 1963 in Lima, Ohio ) is an American professional wrestler and is best known by his ring name of Al Snow. He is currently in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as a road agent under contract.

Career

World Wrestling Federation

After he had drawn attention to himself, especially in Smoky Mountain Wrestling, Sarven came in 1994 in the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE). With the gimmicks avatar and Shinobi he had no noticeable success. From 1995 he joined under the name Leif Cassidy, and together with Marty Jannetty, the tag team "The New Rockers "; a new edition of the legendary, consisting of Jannetty and Shawn Michaels Rockers. After almost a year, the team has been set, after which the WWF Sarven began anew as a jobber. Only in the course of cooperation with the WWF Extreme Championship Wrestling in the late 1990s was Sarvens career back new growth.

Extreme Championship Wrestling

In the ECW Sarven created the gimmick Al Snow, that the most successful of his career should be. He always brought " Head ", the head of a mannequin, with the ring and treated him like a real person. Along with Duane Gill, The Blue Meanie, Bob Holly and 2 Cold Scorpio, he formed the stable " JOB Squad", whose members were distinguished mainly by its status as a jobber in the WWF. The JOB gimmick was used by them in the WWF; Sarven used is to some extent still.

Return to WWF

Shortly before he was the ECW World Heavyweight Championship win, Sarven was ordered back to the WWF. There he led his gimmick from the ECW further, moving it but in a more humorous direction and made during the less comically designed Attitude era WWF thus loosening.

After the criticism of Professor Kennesaw State University presented Wal- Mart selling action figures of the Al Snow- character one. The reason for this was that the figure enclosed copy of " Head " could be regarded as severed head of a woman and therefore violence against women would approve. This was first processed in a storyline and ultimately led to a revision of the gimmicks and the renunciation of " Head ".

In the following years Sarven has always been a part of the lower midcard. In August 2000, he won the WWF European Championship and occurred during his reign, often jokingly referred to as representatives of various European States. He also won the WWF Hardcore Championship six times; However, no reign but the first lasted longer than two days.

After his last win the Hardcore title in 2002 Sarven occurred rarely as a wrestler in appearance. He worked primarily as a commentator for the B -show HEAT and later at the shows in WWE Farm League Ohio Valley Wrestling. He had his most important role as a coach in the reality show WWE Tough Enough. Since the founding of the ECW roster of WWE Sarven occurs again as a full time wrestler under his old gimmick Al Snow, but is primarily used as jobber. Meanwhile, he was dismissed, but should continue to work as a trainer for the WWE.

On 10 December 2007, Allen Sarven entered a second time in the ring at RAW 's 15th Anniversary in a 15 -Man Battle Royal, where former RAW superstars of the past 15 years, including Doink the Clown, Sgt Slaughter, Jim Neidhart, Scotty 2 Hotty and Gillberg, were present and he was eliminated in fifth place.

With the closure of Ohio Valley Wrestling Sarven was fired from the WWE.
