Alagnon

Confluence of Alagnon and Alagnonnette at Massiac

The Alagnon is a river in France, which runs in the Auvergne region. It rises in the municipality of Laveissière, in the Monts du Cantal, on the eastern flank of the Puy Bataillouse. The source is located in the Regional Natural Park of Auvergne Volcanoes. The river drains generally northeast and ends after 86 kilometers at Auzat la Combelle as a left tributary of the Allier. On his way he crosses the Cantal, Haute -Loire and Puy -de- Dôme.
