Alain Vidalies

Alain Vidalies ( born March 17, 1951 in Grenade- sur -l'Adour, Landes ) is a French politician of the Parti Socialiste (PS ), and since May 2012 Assistant Minister for Relations with Parliament in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Jean -Marc Ayrault.

Life

Lawyer and local politician

After schooling Vidalies studied law and was after graduation and successful lawyer's admission as an attorney. Between 1976 and 1979 he was Parliamentary Assistant to Roger Duroure, who was at the time as Member of Parliament for the constituency of country. Following 1979 he opened a law office in Mont -de- Marsan.

At the same time he began his political career in local politics when he was first elected in 1979 as a representative of the PS as a member of the General Council of the Landes department, in which he gave the Canton of Mont -de- Marsan -Sud represented until 1992. During this time, he was from 1985 to 1992 and Vice President of the General Council. In addition, he was from 1983 to 1989 Member of the town of Saint- Pierre -du -Mont, and then from 1989 to 2002 First Vice - Mayor of Mont -de- Marsan.

MP and Minister

1988 Vidalies was chosen as the candidate of the PS itself to the deputies of the National Assembly and represented the constituency until 1993 there country. After 1993, an election defeat suffered and had to resign from the National Assembly, he is a member of the National Council and the National Bureau of PS, which he belonged to the highest governing bodies of the party since 1993.

In 1997 he was re-elected as a deputy of the National Assembly and represented again by 2012 the constituency of country. He also worked from 1997 to 2002 as a substitute judge at the Court of the Republic, a court which prosecutes exclusively through the trespasses French Minister in the exercise of their duties.
