Alalcomenia

Alalkomenia ( Ἀλαλκομενία ancient Greek ) In Greek mythology, a daughter of Ogygos.

She and her sisters Thelxinoia and Aulis were worshiped together as " Praxidikai " on the Boeotian mountain Tilphossion near the town Haliartus in a sanctuary. There have been stored according to Pausanias oaths to them, this is not frivolous. It should have been the eponymous heroine of the Boeotian town Alalkomenai. As other possible namesake Alalkomeneus is called, the mythical teacher of Athena.
