Alan Neilson

Bruce Alan Neilson ( born September 26, 1972 in Wegberg, Germany ) is a former Welsh footballer. The central defender, who was frequently summoned as a right-back, five times for the Welsh national team ran between 1992 and 1996 and now works on the coaching staff of the fifth-tier Luton Town.

During his playing career he played for Newcastle United, Southampton FC, Fulham FC, Grimsby Town ( on loan ), Luton Town FC Tamworth and last Salisbury City before he took on a leadership role in the youth department of Luton Town in June 2008. The following year, 2009, the club promoted him to Kotrainer and after the departure of Mick Harford, he was briefly head coach of the " Hatters ". In the summer of 2010, he resigned from the support center and has been on the coaching staff as a " first- team development manager " general responsibility for the management development, which includes both the scouting and the special promotion of young talent.
