Alan O'Brien

Alan O'Brien (born 20 February 1985 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish football player. O'Brien is left-footed and plays mostly in the left side of midfield.

Career

At age 16, O'Brien joined the U -17 team of Newcastle United, who won the U -17 Championship against Manchester United. He has been awarded to Carlisle United in 2005. In his debut, he scored after ten minutes on the pitch to score. O'Brien came here but due to an injury just five times for use. On 20 January 2007 he gave his debut against West Ham United in the Premier League. O'Brien could never prevail in the first team at Newcastle and changed so in the same year in the Scottish League to Hibernian.

His first international match completed the Irishman in the game the Irish against the Netherlands.
