Alan Tudyk

Alan Wray Tudyk ( born March 16, 1971 in El Paso, Texas ) is an American actor.

Life and career

Alan Wray Tudyk grew up in Plano, Texas. After high school he attended from 1990 to 1991, the Lon Morris Junior College in Jacksonville, where he studied drama. During this time he was an active member of Delta Psi Omega, the college group of the American Association of Alpha Psi Omega theater. In 1991, he won the Academic Excellence Award for Drama.

In 1993 he continued his studies at the Juilliard School, but he left in 1996 without a degree. He had 1997 independent drama 35 Miles from Normal His first film role. A year later, an appearance in Patch Adams, but not attracted much attention. He had more success in 2000 with his role in 28 days. It followed the film Loud prodigy and 2001 A Knight's Tale.

In 2002, he dubbed two characters in Ice Age. In the same year he was appointed by Joss Whedon for a leading role in the new series Firefly - committed political awakening of Serenity. Theater career

In 1999, Tudyk had his first Broadway appearance in the play Epic Proportions. He also had roles in Wonder of the World, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Misalliance, Oedipus and Bunny Bunny. From June to December 2005, he represented Hank Azaria in Monty Python 's Spamalot.
