Alan Van Sprang

Alan Van Sprang ( born June 19, 1971 in Calgary, Alberta) is a Canadian actor.

Life and career

Van Sprang was already in his school years with acting in touch. At the Crescent Heights High School, he attended an acting class, which sparked a desire in him to become an actor.

He studied acting at Mount Royal College in Calgary and completed his formal training in 1992 with a diploma. In 1997, he starred in the premiere of the play Arcadia by Tom Stoppard at CanStage Theatre in Toronto. He also played the taciturn farmer MacMillan in scenic premiere of the piece missing from Florence Gibson. The piece was premiered in February 2009. He has also performed at several regional theaters. In touring productions, he starred in the play The Heiress by Ruth Goetz and Augustus Goetz from the novel by Henry James, and Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand.

Van Sprang gave his television debut in 1994 in the Aaron Spelling -produced TV series Robin's Hoods. In 1995, he starred as Cameron Marshall in Dangerous Intentions ( bedroom scene ). The following year, he starred in three more films.

He appeared in several series with, for example, in Earth: Final Conflict and Paradise Falls. Add Earth Final Conflict, he played the role of leader - Atavus Howlyn and was in season 5 to the main cast. In 2002, he starred in an episode of Monk with.
