King (2011 TV series)

King is a Canadian police drama based on the transmitter Showcase had its premiere on April 17, 2011. Amy Price - Francis plays the role of the Police Commissioner Jessica King, who is promoted to head of the Major Crimes Task Force in Toronto after her predecessor to a public gaffe on television had carried away. The series was first broadcast in German in October 2012 on VOX.

Instrumentation and synchronization

The German synchronization was built under the direction of Joachim Kunz dialogue village by the synchronous Company Berliner Synchron AG in Berlin.

Production and broadcasting

The first season of the series was produced towards the end of 2010 and sent from 17 April to 5 June 2011 at the transmitter Showcase. Shortly thereafter, a second season was ordered with 13 episodes that were produced from September 2011. This season showed Showcase from 29 February 2012. Early June 2012, the series was discontinued.

For the United States, the small cable channel ReelzChannel has secured the broadcast rights to the series. There the series starting July 5, is to be seen in 2013.

In Germany, the transmitter VOX beamed the two scales produced from from the 17th October 2012.

DVD Release

6 March 2012 Entertainment One released the first season on DVD in Canada. The German DVD and Blu -ray release was released by Studio Canal on December 6, 2012.
