Alban Skënderaj

Alban Skenderaj, Alban Skënderaj or short Alban, ( born April 20, 1982 in Vlora, Albania) is one of the most famous singers in Albania. He grew up there and in Italy and now lives in Munich.

Childhood

Alban Skenderaj was born in 1982 in Vlora, a coastal city in southern Albania. His father was an officer in the Albanian army and also the author of several poetry and prose works. With 14 left Skenderaj and his family their home country and moved to Pistoia near Florence in Italy.

Music career

Albans music career began in his native country, where he 2 2005 of the television station Top Channel with his song Vetëm Ty won the prize at the top hard. His second title Thirrje e dëshpëruar became a hit in Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo and was his first breakthrough. The album sold over 100,000 copies.

In 2005, he was promoting Vodafone Albania. A year later, he took part with his song Eklips on the 45th Festivali i Këngës. In June 2007, Skenderaj played with the German group Schiller together a big concert in Tirana. 2008, his single Larg dhe afer appeared and his second album Melody.

In July 2009, his first single was released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The title track, This is Your Day ( Edel Records ) is also the commercial song for the new Nürburgring.

In 2010 he published in Albania, the single Si ME Pare.

Skënderaj stands at sunny visions under contract.

Published in 2011 Skënderaj Album Ka Shpresë end with a total of 14 titles.

In November 2012 Alban Skënderaj won the singing competition Kenga Magjike with the song Refuzoj ( I refuse ).

Alban Skenderaj won in 2005 and 2006, the talent show Top Fest 2 and Top Time 3 In 2010, the Top Fest 7 he got from Vjollca Hoxha, wife of Dritan Hoxha, founder of Top Media Group, in a car accident in front of two died years ago, a special award in honor of Dritan Hoxha.
