Albert B. Rossdale

Albert Berger Rossdale ( born October 23, 1878 in New York City; † April 17, 1968 in Eastchester, New York ) was an American politician. Between 1921 and 1923 he represented the State of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Albert Berger Rossdale attended public schools. Between 1900 and 1910 he worked as a clerk for the New York post office. During this time he was 1906 and 1907 president of the New York Federation of Post Office Clerks and 1908 and 1909 Vice- President of the National Organization. In 1910 he went to the wholesale of jewelry. Politically, he was a member of the Republican Party.

In the congressional elections of 1920 for the 67th Congress Rossdale was the 23rd electoral district of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Richard F. McKiniry on March 4, 1921. In 1922 he suffered in his re-election bid a defeat and then retired after March 3, 1923 the Congress of.
