Albert Bormann

Albert Bormann ( born September 2, 1902 in Halberstadt, † April 8, 1989 in Munich) was the younger brother of Martin Bormann and the Nazi Party functionary.

Life

He was the third child of postal workers Theodor Bormann and his wife Antonie, born Mennong. His father died young and his mother married Albert Vollenborn.

Bormann was by profession a bank clerk and practiced this activity from 1922 to 1931. In 1927, he joined the NSDAP and the SA. From 1929 to 1931 he was Gauführer the Hitler Youth in Thuringia. From 1931 he worked in the private practice of Adolf Hitler, he became manager in 1933. The private firm was from 1934, the main office I Hitler's chancellery.
