Albert Lasker Special Achievement Award
The Lasker ~ Koshland Special Achievement Award in Medical Science is a science prize, which is awarded by the Lasker Foundation since 1994.
He honors scientists who have in an outstanding way influenced and advanced the research, health or medicine and who have earned the special respect of the biomedical scientific community in their academic career. By 2006, the prize was awarded under the name Albert Lasker Special Achievement Award, since 2008, the name of the prize honors in addition to former winners Daniel E. Koshland, who died in 2007.
