Albert Thellung

Albert Thellung ( born May 12, 1881 in Enge, † June 26, 1928 in Zurich ) was a Swiss botanist. Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Thell. ".

He was an employee at the 3rd and 4th edition of the "Flora of Switzerland " by Hans Schinz and Robert Keller, from 1909 to 1914 or 1923.

The Austrian botanist Otto Stapf has named the plant genus Thellungia from the family of grasses ( Poaceae ) after him.
