Aldranser Bach

Forest section at Schönruh

The Aldranser creek rises near Aldrans middle of the forest and flows in a northerly direction to Schönruh over. Previously, the stream has fed a swimming pool here.

In the large garden of Schloss Ambras he dines there the big pond and continues to flow through the park after Amras, where it flows into the creek Lanser. It has a length of about 5 km.

Most of the time it flows through forested sections. In winter, the Aldranser Bach prevents freezing of the Great pond.

In the castle park is home to the brook birds like peacocks.
