Ale Yarok

Ale Jarok ( עלה ירוק, " Green Leaf " ) is an Israeli party. In the elections on 28 January 2003 Ale Jarok received 37 855 votes (1.2%), falling short of the then 1.5 % threshold. In 2006 the party won 1.29 2009 0.39 percent of the vote. In the election for the 19th Knesset on January 22, 2013 Ale Jarok came to 0.98 percent. Thus Ale Jarok was not yet represented in the Knesset.

Profile and program

Ale Jarok advocates the legalization of soft drugs ( cannabis and hashish), legalization of prostitution, as well as for ecological solutions for civil and human rights.

The party has worked out a peace plan in the light of UN Resolutions 242 and 338. It supports the withdrawal to the approximate boundaries of 1967. According to its peace plan to develop an independent state in the Arab neighborhoods and in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Every four years, should a government of 100 MPs, 33 are each representatives of the Christian, Muslim and Jewish faith and a recognized from a different religion formed.

Ale Jarok supports social grants to foreign workers and their integration into the health system. It supports civil marriages and the recognition of all currents of Judaism. Next, the party advocated the separation of state and religion and the end of an Orthodox monopoly in the exercise of religion.
