Aleixo-Platini Menga
Aleixo - Platini Menga ( born September 29, 1987 in Luanda ) is a German sprinter. His specialist discipline is the 200 -meter run.
Career
Born in Angola Menga grew up in Monheim. For athletics, he came in 2005, initially at the SG Langenfeld since 2007 with TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
2009 Menga German junior champion over 200 meters and German champion with the 4 x 100 - meter relay team of TSV Bayer Leverkusen. In the U23 European Championships 2009 in Kaunas, he won the silver medal. Also for the World Championships that took place in Berlin in the same year, he qualified and reached the quarter-finals. Then Menga was repeatedly violated.
2012 Menga was in Karlsruhe German indoor champion over 200 meters. Outdoors he was able to increase in Mannheim on his best time 20.33 s, making it occupies third place in the eternal German 's best and qualified for the European Championships in Helsinki. There, however, he had to cancel at the start because of an injury. At the German Indoor Championships 2014 Menga was third on 200 meters.
